Work with us: Organisation required to design, build and maintain an at-scale Cradle to Cradle (C2C) demonstrator
Deadline extended to 5 September 2012.
The Institute seeks to appoint an organisation (consultancy, commercial entity, academic institute or consortia) to develop the design detail, build and operate an at-scale C2C modular demonstrator on the London Sustainable Industries Park (LSIP) in Dagenham as part of its C2CBIZZ project.
Funded by the INTERREG IVB NWE programme, the project aims to develop Cradle to Cradle principles through demonstrators on developing business sites to illustrate how we can eventually minimise the secondary waste streams from energy from waste by-products.
The appointed organisation will be required to deliver a range of outputs including preparing a technical schematic proposal of the proposed demonstrator that shows how the materials will flow, the technologies used and outline the assumptions that will apply; producing design drawings for the construction of the planned demonstrator in the building provided, and building the demonstrator within the defined parameters such as services available. A findings report will also be required to be produced by June 2014.
The deadline for submission has been extended to 5 September 2012.
