Small Builders - led by Federation of Master Builders (FMB)

The FMB will manage the Small Builders network - working particularly with small builders and sub-contractors. It will focus both on the opportunities for these SMEs to gear up for and secure green building/eco-refurbishment work from local homeowners and businesses, as well as joining larger framework contracts to tap into specific green building/retrofit programmes. Fabric and Energy Efficiency - led by National Federation of Roofing Contractors (NFRC)

The NFRC will manage the Fabric and Energy Efficiency network - working in conjunction with a series of partner organisations including NHIC, CERTAS and CPA to ensure that the full range of specialists covering the complete "building envelope" are encompassed within this programme. This will include both suppliers and specialist installers in roofing, walling, insulation, glass and glazing, flooring and other "envelope" components. It will cover solar PV, solar thermal and Green Roofs and it will also include the critically important areas of air-tightness and ventilation - and take a "fabric-first" approach to buildings and environmental performance. Renewable Energy - led by BSK-CiC

BSK-CiC will manage the Renewable Energy network - working in close collaboration with the National Energy Foundation, Summit Skills and the Renewable Energy Association. This will cover all the major renewable technologies and emerging market opportunities as well as the broader themes with the green building/eco-refurbishment sectors. Unlike other networks 'Renewables' is very much a "cross-cutting" theme and therefore we anticipate a range of different SMEs - consultants, builders, installers, suppliers etc. being involved in this network and the other more specialist sectors on a regular basis.
